Hopefully! Fences are often on the boundary, but not always. There’s no way of knowing exactly without doing a survey.

SIXmaps boundaries are not accurate. In some places, we've seen them up to 100 meters out of position! You need a Registered Surveyor to determine the position of your boundaries.

The place to start for a new build is a detail and contour survey. This gives you and your designer the accurate information you need about your site that you need for a successful build.

It depends on the complexity and scope of your project. Every site is different. A typical residential boundary survey is completed within a day on-site, and a report will follow a few days later.

Generally, subdivisions will require consent. This will either be through council or a certifier in some cases. We can provide the advice you need to figure out which pathway is for you.

There usually will be a minimum lot size for Torrens Title, but not always for Strata Title. We can help provide this information. Speak to our Registered Surveyor today.

We can help you prepare and submit development applications or subdivision certificates with council. We also have connections with certifiers who may be able to assist you on some projects instead of council.
