Is that fence really on the boundary?

Be very careful measuring from fences, they may not be on the boundary. If you are spending time and money on a project, you need to get it right.

Our expert Registered Surveyors will complete a comprehensive survey to re-establish the boundaries and provide accurate marks on the ground that you can use.

Avoid costly mistakes and disputes with neighbours by having a Boundary Survey completed before it's too late.

Having us complete a boundary survey is easy. We can remove the risk for you in three simple steps:

  1. Engage us to complete the survey based on your individual needs

  2. We’ll complete a boundary survey and mark the boundaries as agreed

  3. We’ll provide you with a report from an expert Registered Surveyor showing the work completed and other relevant matters such as fencing or buildings near the boundaries.

With this boundary survey, the guesswork is eliminated, and you can complete your project with confidence.

Boundary Surveys FAQs

  • Every block is different, but our team can assess your blocks and provide a quote. Typically it relates to the age and reliability of the boundaries on your lot. We can provide advice on this.

  • SIXmaps boundaries are not accurate. In some places, we've seen them up to 100 meters out of position! You need a Registered Surveyor to determine the position of your boundaries.

  • Sometimes, but often the fence can be off your boundary. A Boundary is the limit of ownership of a block of land, rather than where your fence is. Our Registered Surveyor can provide certainty of your lot boundaries.
